HABC Level 2 Emergency First Aid at Work (1 day)

This qualification is aimed at learners who wish to become emergency first-aiders in the workplace. This qualification meets the requirements for training emergency first-aiders in those organisations that have identified that staff need to be trained to this level within their first-aid needs assessment.

Qualifications Details:

The HABC Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work has been accredited by Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).

This qualification is assessed through practical observation and written/oral questioning.

Learners are also required to show evidence that they are able to complete an accident report form. The recording of assessment will be via the HABC Accident Report Form.

In line with guidance provided by the HSE, the qualification supports/approves workplace emergency first aiders for a period of 3 years, after which point learners will need to retake the course. In addition to this it is also recommended that learners refresh their knowledge annually.

This qualification is aimed at learners who wish to become first-aiders in the workplace. This qualification meets the requirements for training emergency first-aiders in those organisations that have identified that staff need to be trained to this level within their first-aid needs assessment.
